Onefocus is built by OnwardLabs. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and password (securely hashed). We do not collect your real name unless you provide it voluntarily.

Task data: Tasks you create, including titles, due dates, priority levels, context notes, and completion status. This data is necessary to provide the Service.

Usage data: Basic analytics about how you interact with the app (pages visited, features used). We do not use third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies.

Payment data: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and operate the Service; power AI features (task scheduling, breakdown, and the assistant); process payments; send essential account communications; and improve the Service.

AI Processing

Your task titles and related metadata are sent to Anthropic's API (Claude) to power AI features like smart scheduling, task breakdown, and the chat assistant. This data is processed according to Anthropic's data usage policies and is not used to train AI models. We send only the minimum data necessary for each AI feature to function.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies that ensure only you can access your own data. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Sharing

We share data only with: Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI features), and Vercel (application hosting). These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services to us.

Your Rights

You have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and all associated data; export your task data; and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
